This series consists of two asset registers relating to government employee housing. Volume 1 relates to dwellings constructed from 1950 onwards in the following areas; Pine Creek, Humpty Doo, Alyangula, Groote Eylandt, Adelaide River, Nhulunbuy, Batchelor, Daly Waters, Beatrice Hill, Avon Downs, Yuendumu, Elliott, non-urban areas (Douglas Daly and Manton Dam), and acquisition areas (Upper Adelaide River Experiment Station, Beatrice Hill Experiment Station, Tennant Creek central battery, Mt Wells battery, Maningrida, Murgenella, Pickertaramoor, and Snake Bay). The following information was recorded for each locality; lot number, street number, street name, file number, dwelling, tenancies, and installations. Other details included capital cost, weekly economic rent, and number of housing units. Volume 2 contains the following information for housing in Nhulunbuy and Batchelor; block number, street name and number, locality, assessment number, file number, main and outbuildings, tenancies, annual depreciation, and installations.
